Meg Storer - Conductor

Meg discovered her love of conducting through a traumatic family incident, leading her to create her film orchestra, Cinematic Syncopations Orchestra (CSO) in March 2019, debuting to a sold-out audience at Blackheath Halls.

Having received a First-Class Honours degree in 2019, she advanced onto an MMus with Trinity Laban, having been offered a unique combined Masters' of Conducting and Flute. TL's commitment to make this tailor-made course for Meg demonstrates her quality, commitment, and calibre of conducting ability, as well as the strength of the long standing relationship between Meg and the Institution. Alongside her Master's, Meg also successfully studied under Denise Ham at the London Conducting Academy.

Meg now works as an Event Coordinator for the London Symphony Orchestra at LSO St. Luke's. Alongside her full time work, she is: conducting the Portobello Orchestra for their Summer 2024 season; is a current Creative Learning Ambassador with the Benedetti Foundation; works as an assistant leader at the Junior Girls Choir at London Youth Choirs and is the secretary and permanent third flute/piccolo player for the Westminster Philharmonic Orchestra, having previously been the Assistant Manager of the London City Orchestra.
